I have the originals on VHS, I have the Special Editions of the Originals on VHS, I have the Originals and the Prequels on DVD, and I’ve just watched the YouTube and finally come to the conclusion that I don’t need another set of them, however beautiful they may look.

I’ll save my money for something I don’t have in my collection.

In reply to Rodney. No one is saying he can't improve his work. We love the new Blade Runner right? So, it's not that. It's just that Star Wars brought fond memories for many of us. The version that we saw in the theaters back in the day is not the same movies as the Special edition. I like the special editions also. I think that he could be sensitive to those of us that would like to have one or the other or both. I would buy both!

the only way I’ll spend more cash is A: I’ll buy it in 2-3 yrs from now when my 5 yr old starts to get interested or B: theres a special feature on one of the bonus discs that has a (Full HD)P.O.V. video of Leah in the gold bikini blowin’ Chewbacca!
