This movie pales in comparison to the first. It is not as good as the second or third either. It is bad enough that I actually had to stop watching it and take a break. It just seems cheesy to the point of being stupid. There are a few scenes that make it watchable though. The mermaid scene is really cool and reminds me of the quality of the first movie alot.

I’m sure I’ll enjoy the movie, but the trailer just didn’t thrill me. It just looks lame. Hope that doesn’t end up being the case.

I am very excited for Pirates 4. I am hoping someone can help me find out when the premier of the movie is in Disneyland. I want to go and see Johnny walk by. It is sure to be a great time!

Carrying on with EVERY major cast member replaced, you might as well reboot and start over.

I still don’t see what this has to do with Pirates.

Seems dull, and WHY IS PENELOPE CRUZ in this????

Cant stand her when she’s not speaking her native tounge. she acts sooooooo much better in the Almodovar films.

like that it’s less razzle dazzle and hopefully more character drivin like the 1st one.

I completely agree Rodney about seeing Depp at his best again in this role and I felt a slight twinge of regret and sadness at seeing Barbarosa in the British uniform. Looking to be a great film.

Good to hear a nice soundtrack to go along with it as well.

I agree with Landon, it does feel flat.

Also, Dan, this will not be the last “Pirates” movie, if I’m not mistaken, it will be dragged on into two more features.

Of course, I will still see it, regardless of anything. Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow is just too cool and fun.
