This could work. I like the idea. Put Lucas and the Lucas Arts team in charge of the special effects or animation and motion capture stuff and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE!! Take his idea and let someone else run with it that knows how to get good performances out of actors and write good scripts and make good movies.

It would be a five second wonder. If Lucas made such a film people who watch it for the novelty factor but I couldn’t see them going back for more.

I’ve already had this vision but I’ve always seen it as occuring at the Grammy’s or MTV music Awards. I see some singer like Timberlake dancing or some popular rapper rapping and then along side Timberlake a holographic Image of Fred Astaire shows up dancing next to the star. For the rapper it would be Tupac or someone like that. It’s coming Rodney! Hopefully we will see it in our lifetime and we can say,”I knew it!”

This idea sounds pretty unappealing to me. I just wouldnt be interested in this at all.

If Lucas thinks its a good idea, more power to him.
