In reply to Norberto. The answer is no. But that said, I'm under the impression that, well, did you see that first comment? WB, it seems, still thinks movies based on comic books are supposed to be silly high camp. See what happened to Jonah Hex. Remember what they had planned for JLA. Afyer Tim Burton went "dark" (although still in his usual carnival attraction) Shimacher headed towards camp and codpieces. After giving the rumor some thought, I said to myself 'Okay, Maybe Killer Croc' or MAYBE Deathstroke. But it hit me between the eyes. The only reason to reboot Batman after Dark Knight Rises is to fit in with a JLA kind of film So, them if WB intends on making a high camp JLA film, the answer is a YES John Cena would be "good" as Batman, at least in the eyes who want to rape the material ASAP.

Another Batman reboot…jesus is hollywood so desperate that they have to reboot a character every 6 months?????…I might have to stop watching movies and maybe pick up a book and start readaing before they descide to start rebooting novels…

The only superhero John Cena could play would be the Hulk. And I’m not talking about Banner–I mean just the green-painted hulk. The grunts and growls would fit his acting prowess perfectly.

In reply to Ricci. nolan's batman was drawn a lot from Frank Miller's adaptations written in the 80's. they are known as some of the best batman stories, and they are serious and realistic. all comics were very goofy back in the 60's compared to comics today. batman is meant to be a dark, tragic character, so it makes sense that people like mediums representing him like that better.

Cena realy?? the guys huge I seen him once in person the guys a Monster maybe he could play killer crock or Bane but not batman the guys too big to even play superman.

If i was the big boss I would fire the dude who mentioned John Cena as batman on the spot.

If Bale desent do a fourth batman I say wait atleast 7 years before you even think of doing another reboot ..

ricci… I have no read some of the darker series (like the dark knight) and more recent batman comics? Nolan has done a great job of bringing that across… ps the original series, with burton starting off, had that comical but still serious dark tones because the comics are darker than they are campy and sunny

I think Nolan’s take is more accurate to the original comic by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. Nolan even said he went back to those original issue for some inspiration. Batman is and always was meant to be a Dark character. Though publisher’s have made him kid friendly by adding Robin, more comedic or campy for more public consumption, the character always returns to his dark and serious roots. Nolan’s movies did so well because the darker version makes more sense and the public gets it. The campy comedic versions are all kids fare.
