Red State – Poster

Red State Plot via Latino Review:

A group of kids encounters a crazed preacher (based on Fred Phelps, founder of the Westboro Baptist Church) who gives a whole new meaning to the term “extreme fundamentalism.

The poster looks cool, apparently appointed the name “The Holy Ghost.” Im just curious if the creases and scratches on the photo are there to represent some symbolic meaning in the film or if its just to add some creepy style to the poster. Either way I enjoy the poster, it doesn’t necessarily do anything special for me or feel really original. But I’m sure it will make more sense when the other posters come out which I assume will be named Father, Son, Amen.
