I don't think that Daniel Craig did a good job in either movie. To me bond just isn't the same since Brosnan. The character of James Bond has always been a tough, and strong yet sophisticated and smart. The latter qualities have not been displayed in Craig's performances. I think that it is time for a new bond, one the likes of Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. Bring back the gadgets, cars and women that made this series great.

I think a new Bond film with Daniel Craig would be just the ticket if it happens. Who else springs to mind for the next Bond? There was even talk of Robbie Williams at one point but more of a joke I'm sure..

Thank goodness I love the bond films, Daniel craig needs to be bond to finish off the trilogy, the last 2 are leading up to the next film which, should show the criminal organization to be S.P.E.C.T.A. Yes they are back, I cant wait..

Big surprise.

We knew they would focus on the two franchiss in which the masses are most interested in. Hobbit, of course, is a shared production. The announcement of 2012 isn't too far off base either- assuming the script and director remain intact from the development stages almost a year ago.

While Quantum was a slight disappointment, it wasn't horrible by any means. Not to mention if you play it back to back with Royale, it doesn't so bad.

The only real questions at this time are:

*The releases of Red Dawn and Cabin In The Woods.

*What films they could pick up for limited distrubution.

For a second I feared "re-cast" when I read the 2012 thing, thinking Daniel Craig may not be up to it then realised its not that far away. Just hope they get back to the standard they set with Royale as Solace was just an add-on of Casino Royale.

Just wonder if they will go for a re-working of any old Bonds or go for a completely new story, which is great but as we seen with Solace they just never captured the feel of Bond that well. Is there any Fleming stuff not yet touched on for Bond or have they exhausted that root?

Craig has a contact for 3 movies with an option for a fourth. So how could they lose Craig? I thought Casino Royale was amazing and maybe the best bond film dare I say. At east in the top 5. But Quantum of Solace was a huge disappointment, it had great action but a lame plot and i think the whole story was told poorly. Why do they bother getting artsy directors for bond films?
