Yeah, Announcing cameo’s before they come out defeats the entire purpose of having one. BUT seems like that’s yet another new trend: Announcing Cameos to mediocre comedies to make them seem better than they are!

Couldn’t agree more. Before I even got to the part about keeping these cameos a surprise, that’s exactly what I was thinking. So much more enjoyable when you don’t see it coming.

I thought the same thing going all the way back to Terminator 2. Although not a cameo, imagine the “instant impact” of finding out that Arnie was good this time around. Even the set up in the movie was like they didn’t want you to know, but they already told you about it long before the movie came out.
