I disagree with you here. Maybe this time we get a spider-man how actually have some balls! Tobey did alright in the first one where all the powers and happenings are new to him (puts on his suprised-mask) but the thing is he never takes it off and the only time it works is when he’s wearing the mask (i.e he might as well been a voice-only in it).

Bring on a cool (no SP3-cool) Spidey with some frickin balls I say!

But like the other guy said, J.J. woulda been interesting now that I think about it.
Thats the casting choice that will make this or break this for the pitchfork and torch carriers! and I got my lighter ready to go, anticipating..:)

In reply to Jonny Martin. There's no need to pull anything off. We have the Spiderman origin story, it was a great film made only 8 years ago. This is just a money grab by Sony to (1) keep the rights to the Spiderman franchise and (2) ride the success of Raimi's films to make even more money, without having to pay what Raimi would deserve.
