Uwe Boll Documentary Raging Boll Premiers at Austin Film Festival

There doesn’t appear to be a more disliked film maker than Uwe Boll, but at the same time there are few that are quite as entertaining. No, I don’t mean his films, I mean Boll himself. Despite making heaps of deviled films, he still makes more, and he faces his critics in the boxing ring and shoots verbal from the hip providing quotes that fuel his very reputation.

So while his films themselves may well bring out the most base of reactions, but the man himself is just awesome in his own way. And

Premiering at the Austin Film Festival next week, Raging Boll will present a documentary about the man behind the films.

I would love to see this film, and I hope that it answers some questions about how he maintains his positive attitude or why he actually thinks he is the greatest filmmaker on the planet, and helps us understand the guy some more.

Doesn’t mean I will see more of his movies…

    1. His most recent production is called Auschwitz, and in the trailer he cameos as a door guard while for 30 excruciating seconds we hear the screams of the holocaust victims in the gas chamber behind him.
