In reply to Ty. That's the beauty of how well that film was done. A tiny bit of understanding of the Batman and Robin characters is required, but after that you need NO background at all. It stands perfectly on its own despite having to clue you in on SO MUCH background information. Its beautiful.

no you don’t need to have followed the animated series or any other movie for that matter…. it’s a stand-alone movie with no connections….. though if you are a comic book fan you might enjoy it a tad better in my opinion…

If they release them theatrically, the movies need to be longer than 65-70 minutes… push them to 90-110 and they’re winners.

How are the Superman rights broken up? If its animated but released in theaters does it count towards the 2011 deadline?

Totally agree with you Rodney, they need more films like “Under the Red Hood” with mature theatrics.
