Does motion capture speed up the process of actually creating the CG character over the top of the actor? It seemed to work quite well in LOTR with a motion capture Gollum.
I’m not an animator but I would think it’s help rather than a hindrance.

also like the 2008 version of Hulk. But i will hold the judgment on The Avengers until see it on theater

They need motion capture. THe first two hulk movies were ok but in each one the HULK himself was what made the movie unbelievable. Hopefully with Ruffalo doing the mo-cap, they can give the hulk a bit more of something to connect him to bruce.

I’m sure they used motion capture for the 2008 Hulk. No team of animators could get a project like that done on time without it.

I thought they should’ve kept the 2008 version. Great movie, nailed it spot on. I would rather them do it CGI.
