I recently saw HearAfter. I espcially enjoyed Jack Bence performance. He did his roll so well that I cried during the movie and, now three days later, still carry a lump in my throat over how believable he made his roll appear and the loss he portrayed. I felt that Jack had a bigger roll then Matt Damon, no discredit to Matt, in that Movie. Thank you for a great movie. I only wish I could get a message to Jack to let him know how great he was.

In reply to Sandy. My husband & I went to see this movie, very slow, boring, I am shocked it was an Eastwood movie, must be getting soft in his old age. I was disappointed. My Husband who is a big Eastwood fan was bored. Should of rented from Red box & stayed at home.

Excellent, different film about a subject that most people are in denial about: death and what awaits. Intelligent script keeps it real; the Holliwood ending wraps things up perhaps too tidy but the synchronicity of the story is great. I believe Eastwood films are all surprises, and takes people out of their comfort zones. I think he is comfortable directing any film well. His selected topics and scripts are always rich cream.

It is another great Eastwood film. His movies are all different and unique. I like to see a movie once in awhile with no senseless violence and crazy special effects.

I was shocked that this was a Eastwood movie. After the first 10 minutes it was the most boring movie I have ever saw.. You find yourself waiting and waiting for it to be good but it isnt. At the end everyone in the theatre was disappointed..

In reply to cloud720. I dont think so. For me, Eastwoods movies, not all, but space cowboys, million dollar baby, the unforgiven left me thinking about them for days. I cant wait to see this one. Eastwood maybe stepping a little bit out his comfort zone..well have to wait and see.

even though the critical response hasn’t been that amazing i’m still very intrigued by the trailer. its like Eastwood decided to do an Emmerich movie.
