TO see Edward Norton as Hush would actually be pretty amazing, especially if this would actually allow Harley Quinn to actually be in the movie. Because then Joker isn’t as required as before, and it would still fit with the whole setup that the town is against Batman.

I’d be fine with Norton in Batman 3. But here’s the gag: if it comes to pass, how serious was Norton about that statement? Considering that there have been up to four Bat-foes in both pictures, including a mobster type. Would Norton still accept if he is a supporting role or NOT playing The Riddler? Sure, have him play Black Mask, Hush or Maxie Zeus. Let”s see what happens then.

I don’t want the Riddler at all. Use a different untapped character to play it out in Nolan’s Batman land. I’d like to see a Mr. Freeze we’ve never seen before. Not that big hulking Schwartzenegger type with the glass fishbowl and freeze ray but a more realistic version that was more psycho and uses chemicals to “freeze” his victims somehow or cause paralysis of the limbs but keeps the brain alive. Who knows? I’m just saying Nolan really needs to stretch the limits of his Batman’s reality-based world. I think that’s what sold the first Dark Knight movie and I’m getting bad vibes about this third one or the final swan song of this possible Nolan trilogy.

I think the final Batman movie should be more concerned with the character of Batman and less about what villain they’re going to feature. That was a pitfall the earlier Burton/Schumacher movies slid into.
