How is changing the title a reboot?

Not a team of agents?? Ving Rhames is still aboard.
What's this stuff I hear about Kristen Kruek in auditions?

The only difference now is that the focus will be on two characters...not just one.

Oh by the way... mystery item with a hidden recording that self destructs after the mission message, should one choose to accept?

I rest my case. You can't reboot and call it anything other than Mission: Impossible

And if it WAS a reboot, then dammit, bring Jim Phelps back from the dead.

I couldnt care less about the MI franchise anymore, it's a good idea that there going with somethin' new for the title, Renner should bring it as always and Tom's always decent in these. What gets me excited on this one is Brad Byrd!

the other day I was thinking : (not on topic) Wouldn't it be cool to see a live action version of The Iron Giant?

with all the robot stuff weve seen come to screen recently and watchin' the Thor trailer at the end with Destroyer...that I'd like to see one day this happen (in the arms of it's creator, of course)

I'm curious what they will call it if they aren't going to use the Mission: Impossible name. I mean "The Dark Knight" works because most people know that Batman is sometimes called The Dark Knight. Are there any other aliases, nicknames, or titles that are strongly enough associated with M:I for that to pass? If not then those folks could just end up with people thinking its a brand new spy movie with no relation to the M:I name.
