Oh Jeeesh, I can see it now: Micheal Cera as Murrays son, Jonah Hill (doing ackroyds bit), the token Black guy…maybee Danny Glovers kid, and the dweeb part played fantastically by Rick Moranis is The voice of How to train your dragons guy (he’s actually pretty good)all to the Sounds of Kanye West or Lil’ Waynes remix of Ray Parkers Tune!

I’m with you, I’ve heard rumors of Hollywood remaking Enter the Dragon and I’ve seen scenes from the new Green Hornet movie. To be honest some things are sacred and should be left alone. No one should ever touch certain films – it’s just a violation. Some films simply define an era and an attitude that you just can’t imitate or relive.

I love the Ghostbusters films (yup both) but after Indiana Jones I’m kinda suspicious about any sort of revisiting of old franchises. Especially ones that deal with the main character having a kid….

A good theory Rodney. Something I was talking about for friend to, about the never stating how long Peter and Dana had been together before the breakup. My guess is that Peter left before Dan I found out she was pregnant, and she never bothered to tell him about it.

My main hope is that Ghostbusters 3 will be an excellnet final bow to the original team, with an intreguing (Ecto-1 key pass) ending.
Leaving hope for a new set of movies if the film is a hit at the box office.

Overall I’d rather have a low-grossing farewell to the old gang, than a low-grossing start to a new franchise we won’t get to see!

I just wish they would hurry up and let us know when/if this thing is ever going to get the green light or just be shelved. I’m a rabid Ghostbusters fan and the anticipation has been KILLING me over this past year or two. Good news or bad news…I can take either one, but NO NEWS is unacceptable. (Please let it be good though, lol).
