This was the sort of movie that it was so bad it was good — I had a lot of fun watching this in the theater, even if I was constantly laughing at how bad it was. I think I’d actually pay to go see a second one, but they’ll have to improve it. I was smart enough to see it in 2D last time; I’ll only watch movies in 3D if that’s how they were filmed (and even then, I’m kind of mheh). This could be fun, though, and goofy popcorn movies are great.

Plenty of potential for a good sequel, they just have to get the story/script right (and not change it at the last minute ala the first one)

The remake of Clash of the Titans fell way behind from the original. I’m not really looking forward for another one. And that’s good that he wanted his character to be further developed, I know a lot of people including my brother that just think he’s a straight up bad actor. But these are the roles he signs up for so..

Wow, he sure makes a case that he isn’t some dumb illiterate brute. He’s so well spoken. Please give him more character development and screen time!

Kidding aside, he is right. They really did miss out on developing Perseus’s character.

i hope they go back to oringinal script with zeus all mad and dark and just wants to lay waste to the planet. if not, just go more mature and fun, if possible.

I believe that the post-converting is the reason why it made this much money in the first place. People simply were tricked by Sam Worthington and 3D adding 1 plus 1 = Avatar.
But of course you are right about it being a good thing to improve the character and making it 3D from the start. After all people will be more suspicious about post-converting next time.
