Im an old school ghost rider fan iv been collecting the books since 78 ,the fist movie was ok but not real true to the character and not but a big cage fan but still find myself looking forward to the new movie. Remember to keep an open mind thing are more enjoyable that way.

Hmmm, I kinda liked the first one. There were many things I didnt like about it. Even though they included an origin story, Nick Cage still felt to old to be Johnny Blaze, it jumped from his teenager years to now or whatever.

My personal belief is the movie wasn’t scary enough, I know its great to wrake in the cash from 6 year old viewers, but it just bugged me. It was more like a family movie than what it should have been.

I wish they woulda recast, but I still think Cage can salvage the second movie with a better script.

I didn’t mind the first one, although it could have been far better if it stayed away from camp (Wes Bentley- that means you), if Sam Elloit’s Bounty Hunter was involved in the final showdown somehow instead of ‘riding alongside’ Blaze just to stop and go away, and if the film had better FX, instead of great in a few scenes and medicore in others.

But I liked Cage, liked Mendez and Elliot and Peter Fonda stole the movie. If Fonda signs for Ghost Rider 2, I’m sold. I’m STILL divided on N/T being involved.

I never thought Ghost Rider was that interesting of a character, but the first one was decent. So I might check this out.

It is also confirmed that Nevildine/Taylor are gonna helm the picture, I am really happy about that.
