The books dragged on like crazy too. Read the whole series in high school. Easy A for English. After reading book after book, every line sounded like “blah blah blah blah” BUT each book had it’s moments and were somewhat intelligent, just not very interesting. Basically I could’ve easily put one down while at the middle point and not given a shit. The movies will have to change some shit in order to make things more interesting because so far, they are very very very spot on with the books.

I’m pesonally glad about that. Is Disney even backing it (as far as I know, no)? I liked the first one and the second one had it’s moments, but like the first two Harry Potter’s it dragged on to the point of self-indulgence. And, if they continue to film this series, does anyone think we’ll see “The Magician’s Nephew” and “The Horse and His Boy”? Also, I think Eddie Izzard isn’t voicing the sword-wielding mouse.
