We finally get a X-Men movie that isn’t centered on Wolverine. I love Wolverine, but 4 movies is enough film.

I agree thats very fast and it makes me worry about the quality of the script and film itself.

I think the script is pretty much done, Rodney. It sounds like something they did on X2- have two scripts and mold them together. In this case, part of this is the long developed “Magneto” which never happened, but molded into the First Class script.

While it is more than likely that Prof X and Magneto will be recast, it may just be for a one-time deal. (Unless they also cameo in Wolverine II) They will be the two main characters. We know at least two of “the students” are Cyclops and Emma Frost. We expect Jean Grey, maybe Beast.

I too am hoping for Sinister. Sinister could even carry over to X-Men 4.
But I would be just as happy with The Brood.

Unlike Last Stand, the “names” won’t be returning (although I won’t rule out a Hugh Jackman cameo) so we have that going for the new film.

THAT SAID—

I also think the June date is too soon. They have to seriously crack the whip. Come on Fox. Give ’em July if you have to, or better yet

X-MAS.

I would prefer a Magneto movie. this sounds like it could have been a sequal to that movie.
