Ok I understand, but I want to discuss the after thought. The first reaction when you say he wanted to make more than RDJ is a negative one. But not when you think about it. I know people at my job right now that I think are worth more than they are getting paid, but its not my business to fight for their salary. I can only concern myself with if what I am being paid is fair. And if I’m getting paid a certain amount I wouldn’t expect to take a pay cut because someone else is willing to do the job for less, especially not when business is booming. If I was fired because of it, I would 100 percent believe that the company was wrong. The argument that I didn’t work well is another story but that’s the way I see the money issue.

The money thing is an afterthought to my original assessment to Howard’s performance.

Its understandable why they looked elsewhere for a new Rhodey considering the off camera antics and financial burdens, but that Howard’s performance was not how the character was in the comics is more why I like Cheadle better.

I’m not sure what money has to do with the performance. Plus if I’m working at a job, I know what I think I’m worth. It doesn’t matter what the next person is making.

Howard played Rhodey as a pushover. A weak spineless “buddy” type when Rhodey has ALWAYS been a stiff strict duty bound military man.

Cheadle played Rhodey right, even if you liked the inaccurate Rhodey Howard played.

And considering Howard was the highest paid actor on Iron Man, and wanted more than RDJ for Iron Man 2, AND Favs said he was difficult to work with makes me think they went the right way with Cheadle.
