Dude, think of it…..this movie is in no way a 100% faithful adaptation of the game…..none of the actors are Persians (though in their defence, they didn’t sound Persian in the game, either…..but they looked it!), for starters.

Secondly, the Evil Prince makes an appearance in this film, possibly to lead onto the next film, because, if you remember correctly, the Evil Prince only shows up in the Warrior Within (hence the existentialist title).

So what if the Vizier’s young(er)? At least he’s there! And his age or his motivation counts for catshit if and as long as he’s there!

In reply to Harsh (gypsydreams101). See this is what I was afraid of, isn't the Vizier really old and crippled and that's why he wants the Sands so that he can become immortal and heal his Afflictions. If it's this young guy than it just seems like he's just trying to get the sands for the power.

I noticed that too…..but I kinda like the idea of the Evil Prince. I would’ve liked the Vizier in there but I guess they’re saving him for a sequel…..

I have to admit, Jake Gyllenhaal actually looks the part……

I have noticed a few changes made from the video games. Like how they brought the evil prince into the mix (or at least a glimpse with the patterns as the sands of time are being used) as well as blending PoP:Sands of Time and Warrior Within together! Or how the Vizier doesn’t seem to exist in this adaptation.

I have high hopes for this film.As it seems to have really brought the game with all its content into live action. the parkour which the prince possessed in game, the small love comments between prince an his female rival princess companion that eventually lead to them being together.

Also The sand effects of the dagger visuals look GREAT.

It really(Basing off the trailer) looks to be a great adaptation of Prince of Persia the sands of time.
