Patrick Stewart to join Mad Max 4: Fury Road? Nope.

In a little game we like to play around here called Wild Speculation (the home version) we have come across a connect the dots of statements that suggest that Patrick Stewart might be in talks to join Mad Max 4: Fury Road.

Fused Film says:

An Australian fan had the chance to meet Stewart and here are the interesting remarks he made.

“I got to ask him whether he’d like to make a movie in Australia and he said he may be back here soon to film a movie with George Miller. I – embarrassingly – blurted Happy Feet 2! great!” and he said “No, another one”. Only other one I can see that Miller is doing is the new Mad Max movie.”

So while it seems that Patrick Stewart is in discussion to work with George Miller, it may not be Mad Max, but it very well could be as well.

I for one would like to see the noble actor as a badguy, and Mad Max is as good a place as any!

But MTV gets to the bottom of it:

“Fury Road” was of course the obvious assumption, but we decided to find out from a firsthand source before running anything. Stewart’s publicist informs us that the rumors are untrue. Simple as that.

So is MTV part of the cover up? Is anyone safe???

We demand the truth people!!!

Ok, maybe he isn’t in Mad Max but it was fun to play along for a couple minutes there. I could see him as the badguy in a Mad Max movie.
