Why South Australia (a state of Australia) is trying to blur these lines, however……I have no idea. It is worth pointing out, though, that Australia currently doesn’t have an R18+ rating for video games, meaning that games that qualify for this rating are banned in Australia. For this to change, all the states have to agree for the allowance of an R18+ rating for games. Anyone want to take a guess at the state that is standing in the way of this?

That shit is pretty silly. Growing up, I had older brothers and sisters and saw movies that at some points didn’t have to see till later…but I always had a parent later explain to me certain things about these films that would make a difference in real life. Ultimately, I think a lot of this boils down to good parenting. I’ve never felt that school shootings and kids acting rampart were by-products of what they watched or listened to. Movie ratings can be somewhat of a derivative of this argument because some countries take it a little too far. I know germany has an absurd rating system and virtually 90% of films unless cut heavily, are banned. Crazy.
