I saw Extract the other day and when I realized it was her I kind of got peeved that she was so invisible in that role.

I guess it boils down to landing that right part.

Kinda like with Will Ferrel, he was average at best in his first flicks and stood out in bit parts(old school) but found his domain(IMO) with Anchor Man..AND was instant Legend (hence the title to said film)

I also am suprised Molly Shanon disappeard pretty much in film, I thought she was genuinely hilarious.. It’s always harder for females to break though I guess (in comedy)

Do you ever stop to think about how very few female actors out there that are actually funny on their own? She is hilarious to me, always has been, and I wish more she got more roles other than in her husband’s films. Most females in comedies aren’t actually funny to me they just seem to be there to say things to make the guys say things to make us laugh. Kathryn Heigl? in two hilarious movies (off the top of my head) but she could’ve been replaced with almost any other hot female. just my opinion of course
