I always wanted a movie set in this universe, the storylines are beyond great and the history avaliable, enemies, chapters, special charactors etc… etc…

Personally would have preffered to have seen Dark Angels or Blood angels – there charactor set and back stories are much more interesting that the ultra marines.

Would have thought for this to have been done really well it would have cost a fortune, they have done mini movies before for displays at their game days.

Would be great live action! looking forward to this

I’ve been playing Warhammer for years, and I’m playing the MMO now. One of my favorite fantasy universes of all time. 40k is cool too, but I’m more of a fantasy players.

As much as I’ve been looking forward to a Warhammer movie, but my hopes aren’t high for this one. I mean, it might be good, but my dream is to see a Warhammer blockbuster on the big screen! Maybe this will push Games Workshop towards that pursuit, or possibly even point a good director towards the Warhammer universe.

Regardless, I’ll give ‘Ultramarines’ a chance…

Hopefully It will be good, if it looks anything like the newest Bionicle movie, then we have little to worry about. I just hope it doesn’t end up like that Starship Troopers CG Miniseries.

The one thing that does bug me is, are they going to create their own storyline or are they gonna use what was in the games. Cause the books have a lot of interesting story lines that would make for an awesome movie.
