The only way that is funny is with two MASTERS of comedy.

Leave the baseball angle out, and maybe, just maybe someone like Chris Rock and Denis Leary could make this into the modern classic that BM should be, that is to say, I love this movie and in fact is one of my favorite memories from tweenhood (12 yo), I movie hopped from BM to Top Gun.

It was really good, but not quite a classic. Any thoughts on casting? Regardless of the basis of the remake (I had no idea it was the 7th take either!), many fans will still compare this to Pryor/Candy (two GODS of comedy!)

I could see them putting Jack Black in Pryor’s role. I hope not.
