What the heck? The half-blood prince was the most disappointing movie yet of the series. Why did they leave the huge fight scene out at the end, it angered me. The put in a scene of the Weasley's house catching on fire which didn't even happen in the book, yet they leave the most awesome part of the movie out. I feel robbed, and the sad part is that they can never re-do it. The movie was alright, but what were they thinking when they left some of the great scenes out. I wish I hadn't seen the movie at all.

Ok Rodney, true on the spelling of the name. Thank you for pointing that out. I remain a fan reguardless.

I still say the ending was not what it should have been. What do you have to say about the characters that were left out? It seems an awful lot to leave out of the story line...

I always find it funny when people claim to be die hard fans since the very beginning and then use the wrong name for someone.

There is no Jenny, but there is a GINNY. Not the same.

And excluding a funeral for a character was done out of pacing. They originally had it in there but it felt like they had two endings. A dramatic ending then a stale boring ending right after it. It wasn't neceessary.

I have been a Harry Potter fan since day one! I love the books. They are amazing!!! I was so disappointed with the way Half Blood Prince turned out! They added a ton of things that to be honest should have been left out. They should have followed the book as closely as possible! They left out the best parts! When Dumbledore got Harry... the mead cups hitting the Dursley's heads would have been too funny. Bill and Fluor getting together, the kiss with Jenny was rediculous and had no chemistry... didnt even happen at the right time. NO FIGHT at the end and no funeral!!! What an horrible way to send off Dumbledore! Plus Jenny in a bath robe half the movie and the burrow aflame. pathetic!!! They should try again and stick to the original story line this time!!!!!

right first off, i have been waiting far too long for this movie. So i fear that it possibly cant do itself as much justice as this awful wait.
Secondly, every single book after the second has Dobby the house elf, the movies lack sence in not adding him, an example is the goblet if fire. Dobby steals the Gillyweed from the potions store cupboard, but in the film, Neville just gives him it. WTF?! how did he get access to it when even harry cant. Dobby is so main to the books, this stepping around him is pointless and stupid.

Just found it ironic that she uses pet names and cutesy expressions and then complains that the movies might have some romance.

You can stick up for her all you want, but if her discussion is going to start out bashing the romantic side of the potter series growing up, I am going to remind her that even she sees a place for it where "it doesn't belong"

But we don't use the comments section to 'rib' eachother, we come to discuss and debate in a friendly way.

All Kristina is saying is what has been said about many other franchises which have been torpedoed by badly written romance scenes when they should have been sticking to super powered people fighting and doing dramatic things. Now, I think the romance stuff has been handled very well in Potter so far and I'm not worried at all but if Kristina would rather the film gets to the wand battles, what's the problem?

I didn't interpret your reply to her as particularly kind but maybe that's my problem. I'm going to stick up for my friends.

"Furthermore you and your beau subject us to all your pet names on a regular basis"

Now you leave Dwayne Johnson out of this sir. That's none of your business.

I don't really agree with any of this. I found the love stories to be pretty interesting. (And I don't care for romances that much) Besides, it's part of them growing up. Now, I can understand when it comes to the romance in Harry Potter 5 (as a film). I thought that their was really no connection between them. But using the romance in the books were kinda interesting.

And on Hazmat's comment, dude it's a movie. If they had put everything in it each film would've been 9 hours long.
