The twins did nothing in the hole film except fight each other and add some childish humour, they were useless. The ending however was poor, optimus kicked the crap out of the fallen and megatron with such ease after in the first film megatron kicked his ass, now i know megatron was menna be weak but he got the same recovery as optimus but somehow optimus became super strong and owned them both in a matter of minutes. Overal the film was really good and i will be buying it when it comes out on DVD, but it could of been so much better.

And as for some critics saying the twins cannt read.Im pretty sure they said they rarely read or hardly read . Also said it was some language before there time or some ancient language. How many of you can read a ancient languange? And i guess you miss bumble bee right behind Sam while he asking them if they could read the symbols. He didnt say anything infact he cannt even talk in this one he was back to using the radio lol.

I go to a movie for entertainment not to fucking watch for race degrading lines lol . You people should be crying about how they made devastator lol and giant vaccum lol . Soundwave staying in orbit with testicles that goes into a satelite .

I grew up watching the cartoon in the 80s . Yes i was disappointed they didnt look like anything like the animated but i got past that . And as for the story line not following the cartoon . Dunno about you but i wouldnt wanna watch a new movie if i knew wtf was ganna happen . I would just stay home and watch my old transformers cartoon videos.

I couldnt agree more with your post. There were so many unnecessary things that happened in this movie. The quality was so poor compared to the first movie. The thing I hate the most is that this is targeted to children and I have a 6 year old who wanted to see it. We usually go and pre-screen PG-13 movies before we take him but the first Transformers was ok as far as PG-13 movies so for the first time, we went without prescreening. WHAT A MISTAKE! I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! Luckily, we had a heart-to-heart with my son regarding the words and stereotypes so he would be aware of how inappropriate it was. But how can we prevent our kids’ interest in these movies when the movie previews are on TV between family-friendly tv shows, there are toys in the kids aisles, new children’s clothing, and toys in happy meal toys??

I hear what youre saying but respectfully disagree. Im not usually one of those people who blow things out of proportion so if i left the movie theatre feeling the way I did, there’s a problem. These stereotypes infect our culture and make people think that all minorities are the same (or all white people who live in trailer parks for that matter). It’s perpetual and we should be fighting the news and entertainment industries so that they know that we have higher expectations of them. To be fair, we also thought it was ridiculous that the mom bought a brownie on campus made of pot. So should the stereotype of college kids be that they spend their days getting high? These scenes added no comedic value to the movie–really. They cut have cut the robots and the brownie eating mother out of the movie and lost 30 minutes that added no value to our lives.

We were appalled by the racial stereotyping that existed with the slang and gold tooths with these robots. Even in the last movie, Jazz used slang but at least it was explained by saying that he learned how to talk by the World Wide Web. In our opinions, the action in this movie was the best it has ever been but the language and some of the scenes used to provoke comedy seemed forced. The twins added little to no value to the movie and instead was degrading and stereotypical. The movie could have been just as good without them. I wonder who the focus group was for this movie–certainly not anyone with an ounce of education or cultural sensitivity??

That being said, Michael Bay is a piece of SHIT who has made a SHITTY movie. Horrible movie. Should get a razzy for worst movie of the year.

The twins seriously are WORSE than jar jar. I never thought I’d say that. Not only are they not funny, they are incredibly racist. Do not fool yourselves, do not be in denial about this. They literally might as well be in black face from the 20’s. I was embarrassed watching this filth. And these are characters aimed at kids? WTF? For those of you bringing up Jazz, the twins are way way way way beyond that level of stereotyping. When these two god awful excuses for characters came on screen my jaw was literally dropped wide open at this utter display of unbelievable ignorance I was watching on screen.

Please Michael Bay, just go away. And shame on Spielberg for producing this SHIT. He should go down for this too.
