Well i think this film was highly enjoyable, however it isnt in the same league as Toy Story but still worth the £.

Thanks, Very helpful review. Story seems kind of safe and predictable? But it looks like the humour and excitement will make up for it. So looking forward to watching this film in 3D!

In reply to tj. Have to agree with john there. Plus, seth rogan is just everywhere these days. The man must be a workaholic because I can't think of the last time I looked at a movie schedule and didn't see movie that seth rogan in it. I'm not a fan of his but at the same time, it would be quite easy to get tired of him. He should focus on making a few great films instead of alot of mediocre ones.

I thought it was absolutely cute. Everything in the movie is a tribute to the classic and modern movies. The force filed on the aliens is like the one in Independence Day, the sound of Insectisaurous is from Cloverfield and like Mothra. The general’s name is W.R. Monger… so funny. The even call code Nimoy at one point. Its great to watch for all the nods. John, good to have you back. I really missed the movie reviews.

It was a pretty entertaining movie – funny but not hilarious. Definitely worth my $. Though, I didn’t see it in 3D – might be fun to see it that way.

Was just wondering, does Hugh Laurie do his faux-american accent in this role, or does he perform in his natural english accent?

Also, was Rainn Wilson any good as the alien leader or whatever?
