I heard that the studio heads didn’t like how dark and ominous Jonze made the movie. Hopefully it still turns out alright, he is a good director. I never thought I would see a movie for this book, but I am looking forward to it!

i heard that we are getting a severly watered down version of what was originally filmed because test screening proved too frightning for children

There is a video narration of this on Youtube that is 3 minutes long.

I imagine the one page where the wild things don’t want Max to go is going to turn into a major plot development.

The book took me like 5 minutes to read when I was younger. I wonder how they are going to expand the time and what they are going to fill it with.

i think spike jones is a great, visual director and from what ive seen from the stills this looks amazing…this is a good story and a great tale about the imagination…good to see a guy like spike at the helm…should be a great family flick and i cant wait

man this is one of those books u are read in the library while in 1st grade…..really takes me back…..haha love it when he returns and the soup his mom made is in his room.
