I, too, am not sold on the comedy aspect of Green Hornet, but I’m open to comedy-action, along the lines of Men In Black.

But I’m not entirely dismissive here: Gondry is a very visual director; his style unorthodox. Green Hornet might have a slightly different look than most crimefighter/superhero films.
Some of it might have a surreal tone. Some of it mise-en-scène, (which actually might fit in well with this kind of project)…

I loved Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, although I was no lover of that whatever the hell that was Science Of Sleep…Human Nature and Be Kind Rewind are breaths of fresh air.

But I thought Chow dropped out of Hornet altogether.

I think it’s a great idea…but then again. I love Gondry. Anyone else seen his 2 disk box set of shorts and music videos? Hilarious and inspiring.
