he is more than half the size he used to be. seriously…he has lost a fucking ton of weight its ridiculous

I’m pretty sure that this simply won’t be a movie anyone should take seriously…therefore chiiiiiill :P

Either way…this didn’t seem like it would or should be a ‘Chow’ film to begin with.

Chow was the only reason I was interested in this movie. Well at least he’s still staying on as Kato. Will have to wait and see who ends up directing it.

well, when i found out stephen chow was directing a seth rogen film, i thought that was pretty odd… they have quite a different style in every way. so i can understand the creative differences

I didn’t see the appeal in the Green Hornet property to begin with but when I heard Stephen Chow is stepping onboard as the director, I thought he could breath some life into it as a spoof comedy. If it weren’t for Chow’s involvement, I would not care for this movie at all. His departure has destroy any faith I had for it now.

I’m all for Green Hornet…however my question is how bad are those creative differences if Chow is still playing Kato? As for Seth Rogen, he’ll be fine. It’s far from Jack Black as Green Lantern, Rodney. Miles away.

First of all, there’s no law that says Rogen can’t shape up/lose a few pounds, not to mention GH wasn’t exactly a ripped superhero. While I would like a GH film to be a bit serious, I would love it just as much if they made an action-comedy like Men In Black and/or paid homage to the 60’s cult TV show-or even set it in the 60’s.

I am more of an optimist, and if Chow really had issues, he’d step out of the film 100%. I don’t see that. It’s possible he felt that he could not direct and co-star. I think that’s a creative difference, don’t you?

I’ll wait and see who takes the director’s chair, what, if anything is changed in the script, and who Rogen and Chow’s co-stars are.
