I really liked the first one, but hated the second Saw to the point that I don’t care to see any of the others, but I must admit this is a really cool move on someone’s part. How awesome would it be for an Evil Dead marathon on a big screen? Perhaps in conjunction with My Name is Bruce?

saw IV sucked, honestly im not a fan at all. i hate torture films, but if i had to pick saw II was my fav, followed by saw III.

I also think it’s a great thing for theaters to do. It’s a great franchise that just keeps pumping, without jumping the shark like Halloween, NOES, and FT13th. SAW was geneous for a time that was quite mellow in the horror genre. SAW II was decent, yet better than a lot of other horror sequels. SAW III was okay. SAW IV was great, however, one person in a “game” to try and save others was kinda redundant since that was done in SAW III. I can’t wait to see SAW V, though. A lot of unanswered questions should play out…Like, was Hoffman the actual one to put Amanda through her 3rd “game” to prove he’s worthy of carrying out Jigsaw’s work? Hmm…

That’s almost 500 minutes (8.3 hours) of straight human suffering. I don’t know who wants to experience that, but I hope I don’t meet them in a dark alley.
