I’m betting they changed that.”///////- Well “790” I can say if you just run a search you can see many articles, reviews and even actual commercials of the NEWEST “V” Which is Scheduled to air November 3rd 2009 on ABC. So far to share what I Have seen which includes that of a suspected alien being knocked out, faced sliced by the upper cheek eye area and the woman that it falls next to grabs and pulls it away revealing the green scaled skin and reptillain eye. I will also add that this time with today’s graphical technology remembering back to the old “V” when their skin would come off or be torn it was lacking realism. What I saw on this clip it looked like a discovery channel medical operating TV show when they show actual real surgical cases and this was on that type of real level if you were scared as a kid back then our kids of today should be mortified the blood loss alone and showing the actual skin thickness with the green underneath and their eyes blinking vertical almost cat eye/reptillian. It wont disappoint!

Update 10/13/08 — You will hear reports that Warner Bros TV is attempting to “reimagined”V as a television series. This is relatively old news. Last fall their new concept, which Kenny in not involved with, was passed on by all four networks. Though ABC is again considering the possibility of developing a TV pilot project, it is a script development deal only and does not in any way affect Kenny’s ongoing efforts to remake his original classic as a major motion picture.

When projects that bore Kenny’s original creative stamp and control have been taken on by other people, audiences have seen the results: earlier attempts at reviving V, as well as The Incredible Hulk movies and the recently reimagined Bionic Woman all proved to be serious misfires which unfortunately failed with the critics and with the public.

Kenny’s prime desire is to bring big-screen production values to the new V movie while carefully protecting the timeless story, the characters, quality, integrity and substance that make his original V such a favorite of worldwide audiences and a critically acclaimed, international landmark.

If the old, you do a HUGE disservice, as the omission of not only the MB post, but comingsoon as well: you simply cannot mention V without mentioning Ken Johnson, who was also behind many a sci-fi TV show- including the Incredible Hulk and the movie TV series spinoff Alien Nation (*the latter of which became better than the film and that show is ready for a big wake up anytime)

and YES this is sounding real lame, in comparison to the miniseries and final battle. TheTV show…SUCKED EGGS.

And this idea sounds a bit like V meets Traffic. Show me some names behind it (Especially writing) and then I’ll get excited.

For now my enthusiasm will remain tempered.
