Ok, crappiest bond flick was die another day, total crap, too over the top just like the last few batman flicks before the nolan reboots, reboots are big right now and they're working. Hands down I think casino royale was the best bond movie, I loved every second, daniel craig is what bond should be, raw stripped down a fly brit with a gun and a nice car lol, I loved the scene where his drink is tainted, it was brilliant, and QoS was action packed craig has two great films under his belt he won't leave after 2, he's already said in an interview that QoS had some really risky stunts but he wanted to push the envelope in the next film. Soooo hopefully we can go by his latest words and not that other crap it'd be a crime

Actually, I think the worst Bond film ever is Die Another Day. The most cheesy gimmicks are in the movie Die Another Day. Die Another Day came out of left field. At least, the Roger Moore films were all campy to a certain extent. But the three Brosnan films prior to Die Another Die gave no indication of where they were headed with that movie. Turn of the century I don't think was meant to be an excuse to make a crappy movie like that. I like my Bond movies to have just a hint of realism to them. I want Q branch back and I want things realistically done. Oh yeah, I don't want to have to wait til the end to see the classic Bond firing his gun into the gun barrel shot and Bond theme playing.

Timothy Dalton is the best Bond and he did two pictures. It's not the number, it's the style"!

Tim had seven (7) chances to make the 007 movie (first in 1969) but he did the contract to play it three times. Unfortunately his last one went down because of filming and contract battles...I wish that I would have seen him ONE more time...

Craig is an excellent actor but somehow I do hope that he would retire after QoS :D I wanna see as many actors as possible

I hope dearly that this is the last film Mr Craig makes, the whole idea of the suited spy has been ruined. Bond would never have worn jeans and t shirts the one liners the whole bond attitude has gone. All we have now is just action movie nonsense im gutted.

I personally find Craig to be not only a great Bond but a great actor period. Bar none, one of my favorites in the industry right now. I know this next thing isn't part of the post but hear me out: In just about every Bond movie, except maybe GoldenEye or A View to a Kill they cast not-so big people as the villains. they should change that up a bit and throw in Clive Owen for the next one. He'd make a killer villain for Bond. Say what you will, but it'd be a pretty damn good idea.
Just look at Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Mission: Impossible 3, I doubt a lot of people thought he'd do good and from what I've seen of the movie and from what I've heard, a lot of us were proven wrong. Same goes for Heath Ledger as The Joker. I about pissed myself laughing so hard when I found out about that. But then I watched it and I'm not laughing anymore.

Definatly agree with film zone, and changing the bond every film doesn't really give off the best vibes.

They should probably think about signing their bonds up for a certain period of time.

I think the film makers have to make sure that he only does more films if he wants to, otherwise he could really spoil the James Bond brand with half assed performances.

I dont think he will be able to get out of the contract and I think he just wants and deserves more money.

From what I can remember he only recived $1.5M for Casino Royale and only $3M for Quantum of Solace. And that he was going to recieve $4-5M for his third picture.....but I could be wrong.

Casino Royale made $594M worldwide box office and I think Craig just wants a bigger piece of the pie.

@ SLASHBEAST

I really don't think it's a matter of how many films they should make. The way I see it, they don't want Bond to feel like a trilogy or anything of that nature. From Casino Royale to QoS it seems as if putting a new image on the franchise has helped 'them' out incredibly -- and I completely agree. Furthermore, the two movies are meant to flow together, but, judging from the QoS trailer, can stand on their own as individual films unlike LOTR.

Anyway, D. Craig rox ass and I don't see him going anywhere anytime soon. In my opinion, he's way better than Brosnan could ever be in a roll like Bond. However, I bet his concern is with being typecast as Bond. He's such a fantastic actor and shouldn't be limited to just that type of roll.

This is an idea I've been wrestling with a long time. Since the new reboot of the James Bond series, how many films should they make? Should it be trilogy? Should it go on for as long as they want? I think one of the main weaknesses in franchises is that they don't know where to stop. Studios milk a cash cow until its dry and there's nothing left. I persnally would love to see a sequel to Quantum of Solace and greatly enjoyed Casino Royale so I can't really have any problems with more.
