It appears Crispin Glover has been brought on board Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland. We get the following scoop from the lonely horse caves of yahoo:
Crispin Glover has signed on to play the Knave of Hearts in Tim Burton’s adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland” for Disney.
Glover joins Mia Wasikowska as Alice and a cast that includes Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter. His character is put on trial for stealing the Queen of Hearts’ tarts, and is defended by Alice.
I look forward to this film more and more with each announcement that passes. Crispin Glover is a unique songbird in the aviary of thespians, and I always count it a treat when he appears in a film. I think he will fit in with the crew Buton has assembled thus far quite swimmingly and look forward to all of these characters mixing it up.
Of all the films currently in production, this is among my most anticipated. I’m expecting something very memorable from this one, and hope that it doesn’t disappoint.
International friends – are you also pleased at the addition of Crispin Glover to the cast?
