  1. So have you just skipped sharing the Uncut videos and mp3s with your fans? It’s hard to be the best damn podcast when it doesn’t exist for us to see. Can we get a post sometime soon that possibly includes ALL of the videos you’ve held back on us? Please?

  2. Perhaps the segment could be called Ukulele Dreams with Doug Nagy and a poster could be made of him smiling while stabbing two goats in the head with ukuleles. There’s probably a better title but the poster is solid.

  3. Holy fuck. John/Doug…I don’t think I’m alone when I say that Doug should serenade us at the end of every podcast and should go on longer. I’m on my 7th viewing of that segment and can’t stop watching it with my eyes closed and floating off to a magical place. In fact, I think instead of playing the Best Original Song nominations during the Oscars, Doug should appear one time and do this for 5 minutes incorporating goats somehow into all the lyrics of these nominations. Bravo.

  4. “”And as far as Chuck asking someone’s question… we get about 10 of them asked and aout 50 per show don’t get asked. So it is nice when someone get’s their question asked.

Perhaps you should ask some questions if you don’t understand something before making yourself look like an idiot.””

Thanks for backing me up John, you da man.

  5. Robert Forest- Good call…I think casting is done now…have you seen The Fall?? He’s so goddman good in that movie, really solid flick…

I really liked the 7 minute preview of TDTESS…All I need is Jennifer Connelly to get stoked for a movie…gorgeous…

  6. My BAD!

it’s definitely going to be more than 50 million for 2 flicks, including his percent of the profits. If this deal is like the deal for Keanu Reeves for Matrix sequels, from what i heard Keanu made hundreds of millions for those movies, I don’t know if Maguire will be getting that much.

  7. Jalon

Tucker got over $50 million for Rush Hour 3 alone. $25 million of it was up front.

And yes, we said it was $50 million for the 2 movies. Perhaps you should learn how to listen.

And as far as Chuck asking someone’s question… we get about 10 of them asked and aout 50 per show don’t get asked. So it is nice when someone get’s their question asked.

Perhaps you should ask some questions if you don’t understand something before making yourself look like an idiot.

  8. why do you guys say bullshit like chris tucker got 45 mio, or something??
the biggest amount an actor got so far was about 30 mio.
and tobey now gets 25 mio.. get it? spiderman 4 + 5… 50 mio.. its 25 a movie.

  9. 50 million for 2 movies is not all that much, when you think about it.
Compare that to the pay checks for big stars like Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Schwarzenegger. They got a percentage of the profits, and could make 50-100 million per picture. And look at Jerry Seinfeld, he received 200 million after his show ended. Also, when you take finish paying taxes, lawyers, agents, etc, your 50 million could end up being much much less.

  10. I’ve asked it before and I’ll ask it again, will the Movie Blog podcasts EVER make it to the Zune marketplace? I’ve tried myself since they allow you to “suggest” podcasts to you by sending them the RSS feed and I’ve done so twice to no avail.
