Movie Title Font Challenge

Empire Online has a game feature on their site that displays a phrase spelled out with iconic movie fonts.

You have to see if you can identify the movies by only ONE letter of the title. Of course, they help you out since the letters are in the same font!

It was harder than I thought. I only got 28/46 right. But to be fair there were probably about 3-4 I wouldn’t have ever got.

How did you do? (without cheating!!!) Go try at Empire Online

  1. I got half right. Not bad. I always took for granted how those iconic posters seem to burn themselves into your brain, and you never even realize! This was cool. Very cool. Thanks a lot!

  2. The “101 Dalmations” is just cheating… its 101 not 1o1. That’s a damned ZERO not an “oh”.

(I even got that one and i still feel that it is cheap. Boo!)

  3. Ugh, you’ve got me addicted again. I came across this 2 months and spent hours trying to figure out the movies. Then a month ago I recognized one of the letters on a poster and filled it out all over again. I refuse to “cheat” and check the answers, cause I know I should know more of them!

  4. I got 17 out of 46. Some of the letters they chose are too generic. They could have found some more unique lettering. Like the ‘L’ in Gladiator or the ‘T’ in Titanic have nothing special about them. But its not like a real contest, but it was fun.

The 101 Dalmatians was hard because I kept misspelling ‘dalmations’. haha
