He says that he plays vega edgier. In the game yeah he’s flamboyant but let me see cool snake tatoo with long razor sharp claws or plain black suite with long sharp rechtangle looking things…I wounder which is edgier. And as far as personality goes I think i’d be more afraid of a narcasistic blood licking matador than a more conventinal cool tough guy but hey this is just me. So in the end who realy cares. I personally like akuma the best.

I think they did a great job casting Taboo as Vega. I’ve played street fighter since I was young, alongside listening to Taboo AND learning what a great martial artist he is.

Yes, its true that vega is suppose to be extremely attractive. But who the hell do you expect to play an adonis who is not only a talented fighter and actor, but is inhumanely beautiful?

Also, Taboo IS hispanic (Born Jaime Luis Gómez)

I also have to say I’m unimpressed by the amount of GUYS saying that he is unattractive. Not only is beauty subjective, it can pretty much be biased. Taboo is very attractive, PLUS he will be wearing a mask most of the movie, PLUS++ it (the movie) is probably going to be CG’ed to death anyways, so whats to say they wont alter his looks somewhat.

As for the rest of the movie, I’m giving it a little bit of faith. Though I think it should have been broader, instead of being based around Chun li (And maybe having a different actress playing her?), I think it deserves the benefit of the doubt.

How the fuck can you say that they picked the perfect guy? if they cant stay true to the characters they should just fucking change the name of the movie and call it Canadian whore plays Chinese fighter in a will suck my balls movie, either way, I’m so fucking tired of Hollywood and their stereotypical crap with people with Spanish names, us Spaniards are not fucking dark skin mestizos Mexicans, Vega is fucking European, how can you explain casting a guy that looks half black, besides….he looks nothing like Vega period. btw…the first movie with Van Dame completely sucked!

I can confidently say that this movie is gonna be a flop.
taboo is the exact opposite of vega.
taboo: vega:
UGLY! handsome and gorgeous(like me :P)
dancer hardcore badass fighter!
is short! is tall!
has brown hair is blonde(except fer sf2 series,
now he is officially blonde)
is dark is fair!

the only thing they can come up with:
bison gives vega a overhead press to make him short.
chunli rapidly kicks vega in the face… he becomes ugly(“OHH NO!!
MY BEAUTIFUL FACE IS RUINED!)

Aff ..Vega should be handsome, acrobatic and a spaniard! Taboo is not exactly “good looking” nor acrobatic and looks much mor like a latin american mestizo than a spaniard…

Not to mention thats probably his first acting role… well the first movie with JCVD wasnt a masterpiece either so lets see…

But yeah moving on to the subject at hand. Even the concept of Street Fighter doesn’t strike me as interesting. Owwww!!!! They’re fighting! Who’d have figured that one. It’s already lost the battle, I’ve seen too many game to movie movies fail horribly.

DOOM: Saw it, Hated it, ended up getting it from my girlfriend for my birthday, we’re no longer dating.

Dead or Alive: Sucked, and the women were not hot AT ALL!!!!

Alone in the Dark: Please, don’t leave me alone in front of this stupid movie.

Bloodrayne: What sex scene, I’ve seen better sex scenes in pornos with storylines.

Double Dragon: Holy Testicular Cancer Batman! Not another cliché Kung Fu movie.
