I’m looking forward to this movie. I liked Ang Lee’s effort (yes I know lot of people didn’t care for it) but this looks even better. I hope people give it a chance.

If it blows, won’t hurt me. I’ve been bracing for this since the flick was first announced. I’d like to be pleasantly surprised, but if it sucks…well, I’ve still got Hellboy 2 and Dark Knight.

the 1st one was good and this one will kick ass and as for Lou Ferrigno doing the voice is kool he did it for the 1996 cartoon and did a good job with that.

I don’t think so. Maybe that is why there isn’t that much buzz about it beyond the internet fanboys.

I actually like this news. However, the Hulk did also speak in the Ang Lee film (a distorted voice in a dream-like sequence) “Puny Human”…

But this film takes a lot of cues from the TV series (which, to be fair, Vargas, wasn’t entirely ‘God awful’. It did grab up a few Emmy (TV) awards during its run.) The pilot film was also really good, because it ushered in a catchphrase quote that has since embedded itself in pop culture.

I don’t think the film will suck. I also know they can’t please everyone. In addition, I will be more hugely disappointed in the “fanbase” if the film is halfway decent but they start bitching. Aside from the ‘panels’ effect Ang Lee had in the 2003 film, I didn’t think it sucked, but I understood the disappointment. The “fans” wanted Hulk Smash, and didn’t really get it. So now they will. If they bitch that they do, boo hoo hoo, they get no sympathy from me. Zero. Nada.

Apparently a lot of people think that this movie is going to suck, just like they felt the last one sucked. I don’t see what the big deal is. The movie looks fine to me.To be honest, I don’t understand how anyone could have been a fan of that God-awful Incredible Hulk TV show from the seventies and think that this movie is going to suck. Could somebody explain this phenomenon? Am I missing something here?

It’s part of what gives Hulk character.

If he doesn’t talk then he’s just another giant ape on a rampage, and we’ve all seen King Kong already.
