In an effort to build some excitement, Yahoo has offered up a small snippet of Hancock.

From Yahoo comes an awesome new clip for Hancock called ‘Permission’. In it Hancock attempts to rescue a female police officer bogged down by gun fire. Its funny and action packed. Check it out below.
Now while I am looking forward to Hancock, this small clip doesn’t exactly wow me. We saw this bit in one of the previous trailers and it was as revealing then as it is now.
I like how it illustrates that Hancock is attempting to be reformed in his silly XMen uniform and all. Since everyone is watching his every move in hopes of catching him with his pants down he is forced to be overly critical which looks to be burdening his actions. That being said, I think its just dandy the way he is carrying the wounded officer and in the other hand using a flipped cruiser as a shield.
Seriously cool. But yeah… seen it. Maybe you haven’t.
Actually this is the second time I’ve seen that scene and I still find it both humorous (“Do I have permission to touch your body?”) and compelling (the rescue — that’s something I would envision a certain familiar guy in a red cape do)
The more i se the more i want to see. I’m getting more hyped for this day by day.
What a great scene. I’ll pony up my ten bucks.
I will tell you that I have never had a bad time watching a Will Smith movie. Never. I was not so hot over Hancock, but the more I see of it, the more I think I would like to check it out.
Now about that whole Will Smith VS. Tom Cruise movie…
The new commercials that are online confirm the spoilers that have been flying out of advance screenings. This makes me nervous. I really didn’t like what I was reading in those reviews, but I like Berg and Smith’s usually good for a laugh. We’ll see.
