I love BARBARELLA. Probably my favorite guilty-pleasure movie. Jane Fonda is the pinnacle of hotness in that movie.
So naturally I’m very curious about a remake, but the chances that it has the charm and style of the original are very slim.
Also, Rose McGowan just is not right for the role. She’s too slutty for Barbarella. You need someone more innocent for the part. And sorry Ms. McGowan, compared to Jane Fonda you aren’t nearly as hot as this part requires. She would be ok for the Black Queen I guess.
I can’t see this happening with Rose in the lead.

YES! Somebody else has love for Jawbreaker! I friggin’ LOVE that movie! Awesome soundtrack, too.

As far as this film goes, I couldn’t care less. Some things just don’t need to be updated.
