Can’t wait to see this movie, Ryu is my favourite character in this, I think these filmakers are taking to long to make these movies. by the time they come up with a movie x-men vs Street-figther I migth be an old man.really wish that they make these movies soon, the graphics of Garuda & Ryu figthing should be a real eye opener

listen its simple nobody wants to see chung li as the leading character in street fighter this is how it should be ken and ryu vs akuma where ryu battles to contain is evil side while his father akuma wants him to release it so they fight this would be a great movie the chinese girl from crouchin tiger should play chung li for ken it should be the actor from death trance for ryu the actor from ong bac for bison sylvester stallone he has the chin and the body with the suit and the haircut he would make a perfect bison
i know it cant do martial arts but bison is all about power that really fist to fist combat for zangeif the thick man who jet li fought in fearless for akuma
the chinese actor who plays the head samuri in the movie the samuri with tom cruise , for sagot get one of the top fighters from brazil vs dan chackie chan can play dan and vandam can still play guile brad bit can play charlie and angela can play cammy and their you have it the perfect cast for the street fighter movie consider this , the script shuld revolve around ken and ryu bringing in these characters with their own motives to strengthen the movie

o no….this is gonna be bad news. an american actress playin chun-li in a street fighter movie focused on chun-li. no sir, i doubt this will turn out well. i dont get why the studios dont tackle the simple, cooler ryu and ken vs bison story. they did the same thing with the original debacle with their focus on guile.

a ryu and ken action epic with chun-li, guile, charlie nash, etc as side characters would be awesome. but of course, its rare that hollywood listens to the fans.

Kreuk looks like a pekingese dog to me. I’d take Chloe anytime – watch Smallville to know what I mean. I’ve seen her play “bad ass” on Smallville and she can’t cut it like Uma can. Duncan is an excellent choice. I wished they would of hired Woo Ping for the fighting stunts.

Kreuk as Chun Li? I think she may have done ballet but martial arts? Chun Li is supposedly the world’s strongest woman (or something ridiculous like that) according to the video game description.

Kreuk is a tiny, tiny girl, pretty but tiny. No way I could ever believe she could kick anybody’s butt or lift a paperweight for that matter.

Rick Yune is cool, Duncan is good, Klein couldn’t care less but this movie sounds like it will be awful.

Whoops.. this movie is definitely about Chun Li since it’s called Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li. This is so effffing retarded, Ken and Ryu are the main characters of the series, why is it so hard not to make a movie about the main characters of the Street Fighter story.

No doubt this movie will blow chunks. I don’t like that they are focusing on Chun Li, that annoying character that makes annoying sounds all the time. I haven’t played this game in so long though. I saw this clip of Jackie Chan in the movie City Hunter where they did a great Street Fighter scene, and that was 100X better than the 2 hour American movie. It had special effects like fireballs, sonic booms, signature moves, and it had fast fighting like the games. The American movie had no special moves or signature moves, and characters didn’t look like they did in the games.

I’m hoping they will focus on Ken and Ryu for this movie, since they’re my favorite. And wish they will use Akuma as the villain instead of Bison which was done in the first. Hopefully they will have the willingness to take it over the top with the special effects and special moves. AND they should FIRE this director and hire Paul WS Anderson who did Mortal Kombat. Anderson did a magnificent job with that movie, and he understands video games so this is domain.

If this is successful, they should make Marvel Vs Capcom next.

The movies focuses on Chun-Li and her need for revenge on Bison who killed her father, just like her storyline in Street Fighter 2. I don’t think it is a tournament-movie though.

This movie is going to suck, no question about it. But i am looking forward to it, just because of kreuk and because Chun-li is my favorite Street Fighter character.
