DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO WATCH THIS MOVIE!!! Me and my kids saw a review on TV. about this movie and I seriously thought it was pure hilarious stupid comedy that might be worth watching. I felt silly like a Jim Carey type movie. My kids asked if we could go see it – hell I was in tears laughing at the bunk bed scene. In addition, from what I saw on the review I felt it was o.k. to see….The trailers don’t show or tell you about the one guy whipping his sack out and rubbing it on there drum set – I was offended – embarrassed – and of course, we left at that moment. And this is rated R…..but maybe should have been rated between r and x!!!! I ended up taking them to a more appropriate movie. Theaters and movies need to stress much better warnings of inappropriate scenes. I would not have taken them in there if I knew the language was as vulgar as it was and the obscene clips were involved. This is an adult only movie – and anyone under the age of 18 should be banned from entering the theater to view this show!!!!!

I don’t know what your problems are. I think this trailer is really funny. Trailers, by their nature, are usually pretty crappy because they have to be “G” rated.

Lord, Mary Steenburgen is NOT old enough to be playing the mother of either one of those guys. She’s only 10 years older! Maybe Reilly and Ferrell are trying to play younger, but they don’t look it.

I think the idea is funny, but I’m not sure about this movie. Perhaps we’re not suppose to pay attention to how old these guys really are and just enjoy the hijinx? I like Will Ferrell and C. Thomas Riley but this looks like a DVD rental.

Semi Pro is not very good, and if Ferrell keeps this shit up, he’ll be joining Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler as comedians who were the shit for a couple of years and then burned the hell out.

That kinda sucks

Somehow guys like Ben Stiller & Adam Sandler pulled of the appearing a crap load of movies every year and still kept it (kinda) interesting… Will Ferrel is just not making that cut.
I also still prefer him in a supporting role.

I think you could take this trailer, add some hesitant eye dancing, and have a really great film for Farrell’s ‘Funny or Die’ website. Making it into a feature film? To do that, they’re gonna need at least 2 more acts, and exactly 1 plot to pull that off. Good luck, guys.
