Hi.
Just saw this movie and thought it was terrible. Jack Black was annoying (and I’m usually a fan). Felt nothing for the characters. Only laughed once for a second. Overall I felt cheated as there are so many positive reviews and it’s not good in any respect. A good idea, but it did not deliver full stop. No ‘thing out of ten’ either. It just fails.

I’ve looked around the web and am amazed at the number of good reviews. I wonder how many are from real people who actually watched the movie. It was that bad…

Just finished watching Be Kind Rewind. I walked out of the theater liking the movie. But the more I think about it, the more I love it even more.

It’s just a really good ‘feel good’ movie that a I and I’m sure a lot of other people can relate to. Not so much relate to the story line because it’s ridiculus, but the relationships between the townspeople.

I give it a much higher score of 8/10 and can safely say Jack Black was not annoying.

I was able to see the movie on the last day of the Berlinale. Doug’s right: the Jazz Legend part of the story felt a little out of place. But I enjoyed the movie, nevertheless.

I don’t want to give too much away, but there was scene right before the sabotage attempt that was just fricking hilarious (the one with the ladder – *loool*).
