I watched gone baby gone last night and I think this film really demonstrated your point Serena. Michelle Monaghan was a god-awful character full stop (Casey Affleck’s girlfriend in the movie), but the acting was also horrible. Every time she was on screen it almost made me hate this great movie.
However, Amy Ryan, a much less recognisable actress (who I only really know from “the Wire”)was superb as the missing girl’s lying junkie mother.
I say give the female leads to the women who deserve them!!

No Kristina, that is not true @ all. It is a rumor put out by certain Kiefer fans who to this day wish Reiko and Kiefer were dating. They never were dating. You shouldn’t believe 90% of Internet rumors.

Reiko actually was dating Kiefer Sutherland. When they broke up, she got killed off. At least, that’s what I heard.

Reiko Aylesworth left “24” when the writers decided to kill off her character; it wasn’t to pursue a movie career. She’ll continue to do TV, film, and theatre as she enjoys taking roles that are “new” to her.

The one gal that I’m glad to see getting attention these days is Lena Headey. Love it when women play strong, badass females instead of damsels in distres. I’m really digging her.

“Bride and Prejudice” is not the first thing I’d recommend people check her out in. That film was a disaster.

It’s a fantastic list. Lookg forward to seeing more.
