Gosling is a good choice. I think another great choice would be Joe Anderson who played Max from Across the Universe. I got freaked out a few times in watching the movie because he looked just like kurt cobain.

Who will play Dave Grohl!? He’s got more talent in a pinky than Cobain ever had. He’s not dead though, so they have to make a movie about two people I couldn’t care less about.

She got to be on drugs. You can’t use one of the hottest actresses in hollywood to play one of the ugliest people. It wouldn’t be a true adaptation to the story.

I like something from almost all kinds of music; yet I never liked Nirvana. I remember some people being so upset when Cobain died, and I couldn’t care less.

It baffles me that the big Cobain-biopic hasn’t already been made. Everyone knows that this has to happen at some point.
Gosling is a great actor and a good choice look-wise. He’s got a bit of a rebellious vibe about him that suits this part well.
Scarlett is way hotter than Courtney, but that is of course not a bad thing.
I say do it.
As a director I would suggest Anton Corbjin, but he is probably sick of making movies about young depressed rock stars who commit suicide after playing in a legendary band.
