As much as I’d like to see him helm the new Hobbit films and maybe even another Spider-Man if he doesn’t do the Hobbit, him getting back to what made him so badass in the first place tops it all. And he’s doing it with his brother, which is even cooler.

I wonder if there will be a Bruce Campbell cameo in it. I also wonder if this film will have any of the great off the wall comic book style from the Evil Dead movies, with a crazy unconventional hero, ala Ash. Since Sam said it’s a throw back to that series, just less violent.

I love Raimi’s unique camera angles and sense of editing. Stylistically, he’s been a bit ‘low key’ since ‘The Gift’ and I hope he shoots this as loosely as some of his earlier work.
