i remember once long ago on wikipedia they had a plot for t4.then it was removed form existance.ffrom wha i remember it was very complicated but amazing.on the lines of john conner not being the savious but a distraction which the machines believed.so while they were dealing with john the resistance could intercept cybernet and there was something bout a time portal freeze frame.anyone else read this.it was truly amazing but was removed so i regret reading it only once.

I think that T3 is better than T4, because in last film more cruel and less interesting.
Usually, the first parts of films are more interesting than following parts(IMXO).
Terminator isn't exception.
But all parts of Terminator are thrilling and fascinating.
It's eternal film.

I was very disappointed with T3, because T1 and T2 were very cleverly written and the way they tied together was awesome. The fact Skynet came about from people researching the destroyed terminator from T1 was a very clever plot device. I liked how at the end of T2 the apocalyptic future had been destroyed by getting rid of Arnie. It all tied up nicely.

T3 just had too many inconsistencies and continuity errors for me to feel it fit in well with the first 2. It also just pissed away much of the cleverness of the T2 plot. Now this new trilogy is obviously starting a new direction for the series, however I think it'll suck away much of the magic of the first 2 films. I liked how the brooding presence of the future was kept hanging over everything and only glimpsed briefly. By 'fleshing it out' it'll take away the mystique. This sort of stuff never ends up as cool as we think it should be.

This new Terminator trilogy just feels like the Star Wars prequels all over again (and in a way that's what these are). Like SW and the millions of cool things they could have done for Darth Vader's past, I'm bracing myself for the Terminator equivalent of Pod Racing and Jar Jar Binks... whilst hoping deep down that these films can somehow instead be really cool.

If they got Biehn to cameo as Reese that would be great. However...it would also make sense if it wasn't Beihn, or someone that loooks like Beihn. In fact, get ready for my reccomending shocker...it's either Nick Stahl or Ed Furlong to play Reese.

Okay, just kidding. Really.

But if it is Biehn...while he is older, he doesn't look that much different than he did in '84 (or '91 for that matter- in the deleted dream sequence in T2) and he can be put in makeup (not a tough thing, given everything is dirty, grimy and the world as we know it is the new "Puter"gory) but seeing how they recast Furlong in T3, and Lena Headey is the New Sarah Conner (TV show), well, recasting the part of Reese isn't too far behind.

Which is why the new 850 Model is played by John Cena.
Oops. Just kidding. Seriously...

Kinda interesting having the main character not be a Conner or terminator for once. Tho kinda saddens me that Bale isn't the lead. The better get someone that can act very well then if they are putting him next to Bale, imo. No crappy Vin Diesel type character.

terminator 3 was awesome and this movie will be amazing to. it has nothing to do with the past three movies except names. the style should be different along with scenarios. if it even feels like the original movies it will be garbage.
