FUCK Atonement. FUCK it. Fuck it right up the ass. I’m so sick of people heaping praise on that thing while ignoring and underrating good shit like 3:10 to Yuma, Eastern Promises…hell, I’d put The Lookout on the list before Atonement. I haven’t seen There Will Be Blood yet(not playing here until early next year) and Juno finally opens here tomorow. Of all the films I’ve seen this year, I’d give the big prize to No Country For Old Men.

If Javier Bardem does not win best supporting actor, I’ll riot. I don’t have a strong personal favorite in any other category, but he just HAS to win. He has to.

Well, as far as actor goes, Daniel Day Lewis most definitely. He is one of my favoitre actors. And I think that this is going to really be his next oscar after the mindblowing “My Left Foot” in 1988.
